Every dictation is saved as text on your Mac. Search by what you said or by the app you said it in.

Write for the
app you’re in.

In an email field, Auto adds a greeting and sign-off. Everywhere else it tidies up your words. Pick Structured or Email yourself, or choose Raw to keep every word as you said it.

Works where
you already type.

Nothing you say
leaves your Mac.

Speech recognition and cleanup both run on your Mac. Omilia never keeps audio, and once the models download you can dictate with Wi-Fi off.

download.

Setup asks for Microphone and Accessibility access, then downloads the speech and cleanup models. After that, click into a text field, press Option–Space, and talk. Press it again when you’re done, or switch to hold-to-speak in Settings.

Open the DMG, drag Omilia into Applications, and open it from there. Setup starts on first launch.
